About Fire Operations Group
The Fire Operations Group is headed by Paul Hashagen and Bruce Newbery, both retired members of FDNY Rescue Company 1, and former Rescue 1 member Dave Marmann, currently a lieutenant in FDNY Squad 270. The FOG partners have taught at the FDNY Division of Training: including Probationary Firefihgter School and the Special Operations Technical Rescue School. They have also lectured and taught hands-on classes to firefighters across the country. Each has also served as a fire chief in busy Long Island Fire Departments.
